Pretty Toes

This is what happens when Mike and I can't decide what to do.
He made 2 suggestions knowing that I'd turn them both down, so I rebutted with one I knew he would turn down, except he didn't. Oh well, at least it's a source of amusement, because now every time I see his pretty pink toes I crack up.

Judgment Day

Just as a warning, this one is a total 180 from the last book I reviewed.

Judgement Day by Wanda L. Dyson is a gripping story about a sensational reporter who suddenly finds herself in a situation that she hadn't bargained for. Suzanne Kidwell has a slot on TV in which she exposes the dirty secrets of religious leaders, politicians and other high profile people. The problem is that she doesn't check her facts before airing the stories, and has been known to ruin innocent lives. When her boyfriend dies borrowing her car, she becomes a suspect, and when his secretary is murdered in Suzanne's living room, Suzanne realizes everything is connected to the case she's working on. This is certainly a non-stop book, although it is predictable and a little redundant in parts because the reader finds out who is behind everything long before the characters in the book do. Overall, it's worth a read, but probably only in borrowing it from a friend or library.

Snack Containers

Who needs those snack containers that are shaped like whatever they're supposed to hold? You know the ones I mean; the giant goldfish containers for Goldfish, the Oreo ones for Oreos.... All you really need are these link-y toys.
What could be more perfect for holding Cheerios? Granted, you'll never be able to eat said Cheerios, because they're forever stuck in there, but at least it was fun putting them in there, right?
On another note, I'm so glad this wasn't a one time thing:
